It was smooth for me last year although that airport terminal is smaller than the show entrance area in Chicago.

This is true, the petition came around to where I was with only a couple signatures.
I also talked to someone who said they talked to a National person regarding locations and was told that the Rock Showplace Convention Center in the suburbs of Detroit is 50k sq. ft. too small, and that St. Louis had too much crime in the area of their center, FWIW.
