Onto my regrets:
1968 Topps 3d Clemente - sold raw right around when PSA was getting started - sold for 6K - customer got it graded..........a 9 - 30k card overnight
1966 Topps punchout Mays - 2-3k many years ago - didn't realize how rare it was... sold years later for 23k
1968 Ryan rookie - I owned it since I was a kid - easy 8 - possible 9 - turned down 2k for it when they were selling for 1. Sold it for 1k a year later when no one cared as much. A couple of years later PSA came around...
Then there were the ones I never pulled the trigger on that I wish I had .... like the Clemente rookie 8.5 for 10k. 1958 Kahns Clemente probably a 5 or a 6 -for 1 1/2 times "book" at the time ~$500
I was just getting started - seller said I didn't know what I was looking at - he was right
No one ever learned anything from doing it right
With all of that said - grateful to have the collection I do and be part of the net 54 community!!
