Congratulations, Tony, on that beautiful Duke Snider. I have always thought this pose, also used on the 1953-55 Stahl-Meyer Franks cards, was the very best one taken of Duke. His 1954 Red Heart is sweet as well, but I love this one. There's this deep sense of exuberant joy and confidence on his countenance; l love it. Way da go, bro!
If you ever decide you want to learn more about the Dan Dees, I devoted a chapter to them in my book, concentrating on a blazing mint find involving 13 of the 14 Cleveland Indians that were in the set. Same with the Stahl-Meyers, as I recall you were able to get a Mickey Mantle in the last few years.
