Hello Net54 community,
The wealth of knowledge and opinions of fellow collectors is greatly appreciated and I thoroughly enjoy the threads. Here's my first post.
I've attached pictures of my 1954 Topps Aaron PSA 7 that I picked up in person at a major show earlier this year. I drove 13 hours to attend so thankfully it was worth my time! I believe the eye appeal puts this card as one of the finest 7's I've had the pleasure of viewing however, it has one obvious flaw. On the front far left edge there is an indentation on the card. No missing paper just an indent. Print on this card is excellent (white specks on eyebrows are from scanner), the corners are very good although upper right has a slight touch, and the centering left to right and top to bottom is better then many 7.5's and 8's.
I'd like to understand fellow collectors opinions of how a small indentation on the edge of this card affects value. Is this a high end, above average, or just an average PSA 7?
Here are links to the highest end 7's I've found in previous sales to judge against eye appeal. Obviously there is no perfect 7 or they would have graded higher to begin with but would like to know how mine compares.
