Default Beatles John Lennon 1964 Signed Page & Unpublished Photo

Purchased from Jim Stinson a few years ago, below is the wording from his 2015 listing:

JOHN LENNON VINTAGE 1964 AUTOGRAPHED PAGE & UNPUBLISHED PHOTO Amazing combination The page is large and measures 6 1/4 x 9 and reads "To Angela Love JOHN LENNON" Signature and b&w photo both from 1964 signed at the height of Beatle mania. 1964 Marked the breakthrough into international stardom after the Beatles appeared in February on the Ed Sullivan show.

In the photo a young John Lennon is pictured outside his home about to enter and in his left hand is holding what appears to be the very book this page was removed from. The original collector has written on separate notes which accompany the items "A large and legible 1964 autograph of John Lennon with photo outside his home" The page itself is in fantastic condition except for a small thumb size blemish above the "To Angela" the signature and inscription are large and the inscription and blemish could easily be matted out.

This amazing early Lennon signature was originally sold by "The Written Word" and is accompanied by a coa from Tom Fontaine who for 40 years has specialized in BEATLES autographs and is highly regarded in the area as one of the leading experts on Beatles signatures. Both the unpublished candid photo and Album page are pictured on the COA.

An unquestionably authentic John Lennon autograph and one of the earliest Beatle autographs I have ever seen. Ironic in that he would be shot to death 16 years later while entering his apartment by a deranged fan.
