I did another little experiment a few days back...
washing a pennant. Just hot water and some powdered laundry soap. I was a tad freaked at first but the stains shown in my picture came out completely. The red isn't any the worse for wear, altho the spine is a bit lighter now.
The old, cloth-like pennants seem
really delicate when they are soaking wet!
