I thought I would share an intro post. My name is John. I am a 5th generation Cubs fan. All three of my kids have a Cubs tie to their names. I've been collecting off and on for a long time. My favorite set as a kid is the 83 Topps set.

I've been working on an Orbit Gum pin (PR3) set. I started that one since it was 60 pins and fairly affordable. I'm down to 3 left there. I'm thinking about getting into the Cubs cards from the 33 Goudey set. Lately I have branched out into older cards/pins. As well as single cards mostly focusing on Cubs players.

I have a few Cubs tobacco cards, low grade. I also got hopelessly into the 2016 Allen and Ginter set, again Cubs only. That set is insidious for collectors like me. Still a few to go there.

I also have a decent run of Cubs pocket schedules, would love to get my hands on a 2020 schedule.

I recently picked up a near complete 54 Cubs postcard autograph set. I filled in the rest with index card autographs. I then started collecting the 54 Topps Cubs cards with autographs. I've been putting these into binders and adding the 54 Topps cards in with the postcard/index cards was a nice touch I thought. Still a few more to go there too. I'm happy with raw low grade cards so they can easily go into the binder.

Most of my cards I've been putting into binders so I can look at them now and again. I also have my Orbit gum pins up on the wall in a small shadowbox frame. Looks so nice I bought another one to put some of my other pins in it.

Sorry for the long winded intro but the TLDR is: John likes the Cubs. Collects mostly Cubs cards.
Cubs fan here also. Have a nearly complete T205 Cubs front/reverse set and also true for T207 Cubs front/ reverse. Also collecting S74 Cubs silks
