Yes, Mylar is the ultimate archival standard - but remember with the HOF and other museums putting all their stuff in there - they want it to last for hundreds or thousands of years more. My collection has no such grandiose requirements; hopefully I have another half-century. While Mylar is super clear, all of the products that I have ever tried made out of it were also super rigid, and difficult to get cards into and then back out of. CS2's and toploaders just work much better - and for the likely requirements to get me to the end of the line - I think they are well more than archival enough.
