I would second the notion for the '64 Topps Giants (supers). Great photography (maybe the best of the 60's Topps sets) and can usually be found in NrMt shape. The Mick and Koufax and Mays have gone up in recent times, but are still affordable.
I first put this set together in the late 80's/early 90's. Then my son put it together several years ago as a first foray into vintage cards. Since then, he and I have been working on a signed set and am down to three cards - Clemente, Farrell and Mays. Been holding steady at -3 for a while now.
