I agree with the notion that these are really thin and brittle.

I'm not positive how much they're worth, but this isn't a T206 Wagner or a 311 Mantle that we're talking about.

So the value here might be next to nothing whether you leave it on or take it off. And given how much damage they might endure in the process, I would be really hesitant to try it.

I suppose you've got next to nothing to lose since you got them for next to nothing. But you might even lose that much even if you're really, really careful.
