Sadly? It's a pretty decent card and Garvey, whether he deserved it or not, was MVP that year and went on to have a pretty good career.
I am admittedly biased and I still like Kingman, but I'd take the Garvey over the Kingman every time. Kingman had another nice card in 77, but I'd take the 77 Garvey again over the Kignman in that set too.
