Oh man, that video is painful to watch, especially that Aaron in the first pack.
I was fortunate enough to learn that lesson much more cheaply when I opened a box of 91-92 OPC hockey that I paid about 10 bucks for last year and found that the gum had glued about 70% of the cards I pulled together (put some pics here:

Until seeing that video I thought it was the extreme humidity here in Japan that had melted the gum, but I guess this is just a feature of The aging process of OPC gum?
Its a shame, as a Canadian kid I remember liking the taste of OPC gum way better than that of Topps, which was basically inedible.
