Hi John Funny I just wrote about this pin on one of the other sites. Its been faked here is a pic to see the difference the fake on the right has a larger name band that extends higher above the shoulder and is fatter. Yours by the way is a real one. As for age early to mid 50s or lets just say 50s. As for backs I have seen them in black yellow and tin, union stamped or not. That part really doesnt add much to the value of the pin. This williams is very common and can usually be had in the 35 to 55 dollar range. up to 75 max. a nice pin of williams .. hope that helps Enjoy...
