It was nice to find myself at a card show today, but since I couldn't locate anything I seriously wanted
(at a reasonable enough price), I decided it was wise to journey down the
'trade bait boulevard' instead.
Obviously bowing to his
rookie card, the
1969 Topps #533 Nolan Ryan must be his second most sought after card, as it is highly cherished by the masses. This one has got a decent piece of that nice-centering stuff...

The
1961 Topps #388 Roberto Clemente is newly graded, so 'only' being deemed a 5 with those sharp corners and incredibly clear focus is a terrible wrong, as it really looks sweet. Oh well! Was happy to get a more than decent deal on it, so grab it I did...

Rounded the day off by negotiating for a real nice
(and better centered than usual) 1973 Topps #174 Rich Gossage rookie card, and what would be an absolutely gorgeous card were it not for the centering, the cool
1967 Topps #26 Bob Priddy 'No Trade Statement' variation...
