I examined my Alleghenys thoroughly, and though I can't be sure they were really created in 1904 (as you say, no documentation), I'm quite sure they are very old. Of course, maybe I could create one set of cards today and 100 years from now they would be discovered as "valuable and unique" cards - who knows?
