DavidI agree that this stuff is essentially fraud and the seller should be banned from eBay. Simularly, I think that many grading companies should be banned-- just as many 'foul ball' autograph authenticators are banned. However, eBay's not going to do anything about it, end of story.
What I beleive should be done, if anything it to be done, is that there should be a letter detailing the problems of these items. It should be signed by people respected within the hobby and recognizable outside the hobby. Bill Mastro, Bob Lemke, Rob Lifson, Leila Dunbar, Beckett (forget his first name), etc. Likely, eBay will still do nothing (and likely half of these people will be too lilly livered to sign the letter), but if any practical action will have weight, it would be this.
