Derek --

The 1910 Old Mill Series can be confusing. I remember the first time I saw one -- I couldn't find it in the price guides either.

Since the Old Mill Series comprises eight different minor leagues, some price guides organize them in this manner. For this reason (a minor league issue), the Standard Catalog also indexes the series in the rear of its price guide (page 1412, 2003 edition). Your card (Archer) is from the second series (Virginia League) and has an approximate value of $80 in Near Mint condition...although I suspect that a strict NM card might sell for up to 50% more than this figure since chipping and wear is readily noticeable on the red borders. Finally, check through your cards to see if you have a red bordered card (Old Mill) with the name "Jackson" at the bottom. If you do, you're made a stunning discovery!
