Julie Vognaron other people's stupidity, get your nice cards graded before you sell them. But if you buy and sell mostly ungraded stuff, you get less, but you spend less. And fortunately, there aren't too many graded 19th century cards--YET. I don't really think any grading company has an outstanding record grading 19th century cards. Er, or ANY cards, frankly. Not even SGC.
