Marc S.report that there is a health crisis in his family, for which he needs the funds. He apparently offered the box to the #2 bidder at Sportsfest - and he passed on the opportunity.
The current owner/consignor of this box is a very respected member of the community - whose integrity is without question. He has owned a number of high-dollar and important sportscards over the years - although his personal collection is somewhat smaller, often funded by strategic flips he has made in his set building and subsequent divestment. This purchase was not meant to be a flip - it is the health crisis that warranted the sale.
