Default The REAL Show and Tell Thread

"Basically I would like to ask anyone who is willing to take the board into their collecting world and give us a tour. Thanks in advance."

Aaron, you are welcome. One of the things I like about this forum is getting a chance to see cards I've never seen before, and others I've never even heard of. It's fun to learn what other collectors collect, and why they collect it.

I've posted three pics here, along with links to my new (July 25) collector sites. Some of you have already been to the sites.

For me, my homepage at .mac.com made it easy to put together 8 pages of 19th century items and 21 pages of pre WW II items, from Asa Brainard to Johnny Mize. It seemed to me that this was the easiest way to share the collection with other like-minded souls. I've grouped items in a variety of ways, including complete sets, categories (sepias, cabinets), backs, themes (Black Sox), etc. A few non-card items are thrown in for good measure.

When you reach the sites you will see links for the following pages:

| 19th Century Miscellany | 19th Century Sepia | 19th Century Cabinet Cards | Kimball's & Goodwin's Champions | Allen & Ginter | 1889 N526 | 1895 N300 Mayo Cut Plug Tobacco | More 19th Century Tobacco

20th Century Cabinets | 20th Century Tobacco | Candy & Gum, etc. | 1910 E90-2 | 1909 E95 Phildelphia Caramel | 1909-1910 E97 Briggs | 1910 E96 Philadelphia Caramel | 1910 E103 | 1910 Tip-Top Bread Pirates | 1910 T209 Contentnea (Color) | 1911-1914 D304 Brunner's Bread | 1911 D359 Rochester Baking | 1913 T200 Team Cards | 1916 Tango Eggs | 1919 Black Sox + Two | 1933 R300 | 1933 Delong Gum | 1936 R312 | Fronts & Backs | More Favorites

Among the items is a page containing all 15 players in the N526 set. I would be curious to know if anyone else has all 15, or knows anyone who does. Most normal folks would pick up one as a type piece and call it a day. The N526 page is located at: http://homepage.mac.com/thurber51/19th_Century/PhotoAlbum46.html

The 19th Century page is located at: http://homepage.mac.com/thurber51/19th_Century/Personal50.html

The 20th Century page is located at:

Thanks for taking a look.

Bruce
