My wife will really affirm my question: Is this really investing?

I don't really expect to sell most of my collection; the stuff I buy is to hold, not for appreciation. I suppose that it will have value at some point. My cards may keep me from eating cat food, or become frivilous at some point. But, if I want an investment, I call my stock broker. Look at what he's done for me the last 4 years.
