Is the "A" scale grading an industry standard or is it something developed by a certain group of authenticators. In any case there should be some type of documented/published scale that lists the criteria for each grade. I hate to use card authenticating/grading companies as a comparison but PSA, SGC and other reputable authenticating/grading companies post their standards.
