Default set collectors?

Posted By: Geoff Litwack

My progression is a common one, I think: I work on a set that I think is really old, finish it, sell it, and work on something even older. Right now I'm almost done with 1933 World Wide Gum (when I started, I thought: hey, half as many Ruths as '33 Goudey), done with Diamond Stars, done with '41 Play Ball (although I sold off everything but the key HOFs), eighty cards and $1046 into a low-grade T207 set, fifteen short of the first series of Gum, Inc. Superman, and 11/50 on Allen & Ginter Arms of All Nations. I'd love to start on Old Judge, but short of the entire US economy collapsing, I think they'll remain price-prohibitive for me.
