This card is, ironically, not a good example for why you need card grading. Card grading is necessary to identify imperfections that are not obvious from an internet scan on ebay. The staining and trimming of the top border are all easily perceptible. You do not have to be a professional card grader to know the seller's statement that this card "appears to be in around NMT+ to NMMT condition" is wholly inaccurate.
