but you do have to have some knowledge of cards to tell that what the seller is saying is inaccurate. I've seen major auction houses describe cards as near mint with trimming or pinholes. My point is that a newer collector or a less sophisticated one would fall for this kind of description and buy a vg (assuming not trimmed) card for nm prices.
