You are moving to Buffalo? What did you do wrong?

Kidding. I'm in Buffalo all the time.

I have found Buffalo a truly dry area for vintage pre-war baseball cards. A lot of glossy items, Nascar, bad winters and signed photographs of the Bills but that's about it.

As far as shows go, you have Lyn Lake shows twice a year which is slightly less than okay for vintage stuff (depends on what dealers show up...SGC usually shows up) and that's about it really. There's usually one good show in Rochester, NY in February and Lyn Lake does two shows in Syracuse, NY a year.

There used to be some good shows and stores but like the Maine thread, everything closes shop. So sad.
