petethat I am giving the card to my brother (as a joke) along with some other cards for Christmas. I thought it was funny to see that when I first started collecting cards for $ ('85) that my most expensive and oldest card was this one. My brother explained the reasoning behind it and just recently got back into collecting cards.
There is no other reason to keep this card than that, pure childhook flashback and a laugh. No one on this board can actually say, "I remember when I pulled this Ty Cobb out of a fresh pack of cigs" and not many of us can actully say, "my father or grandfather gave me these tobacco cards from when he was little"
I cant remember who here on the board has that little piece of tobacco card with just the name, but that's funny and I'd try to have it encased as well, I'm weird that way.
