Beecher is the very 1st Football player card in a major
issue. He was the Captain of the Yale team in 1887. The
coach of Yale's football in those years, Walter Camp, is
considered the "Father of modern FB". He established the
present 11 man playing team; and most of the rules that
govern the game today. This "Rookie FB" card is highly
sought after and it's value equals the Nat. Chicle Knute
Rockne or Nagurski, or the 1952 Bowman (LARGE) Lansford.
