We certainly have an impact on each other---whether it's giving up or not giving up on slabbing, deciding not to sell even given the great prices coming 'round on
some 206's, trying hard to find cards for folks nearing completion of sets,
sharing reflections on key sports issues like Bonds/steroids or the deaths of
key figures in vintage collecting, and sitting back in amazement that cards like the red border 210's that we knew were treasures (but few others thought so) are now downright pricey and coveted by many.
our impact beyond each other is also apparent but, for me, wanes in import
compared to the collegial impact.
