I don't think bringing attention to bigotry when it arises is the "wrong direction". Just the opposite. Whether it is homophobia, anti-semitism, or racism in other forms, it seems to pop up on this forum on a fairly regular basis. Silence seems to me to be the voice of complicity. If people don't want to hear responses to bigotry, then they should leave the bigotry off the board and stick to baseball cards. I would much prefer this stuff never come up, but it does.
