T206Collector...we've had this one out before. There are a few -- usually the high grade slabber folk -- that view any touching of the card to improve its condition is an impermissible alteration. To me, if you can get an improvement in its condition just by storing it pressed between two pages of a heavy book, then it is not an alteration. Only when you add chemicals or other pieces to the card is it an impermissible alteration. Pressing creases and wrinkles is fine -- especially if there is no way of proving that a crease or wrinkle was ever present.
If the crease comes back, and the seller knows it will or probably will come back, then it is a more blurry line.
