The card has a beautiful appearance but I doubt it will pass any of the grading standards; even "authentic" might not apply here. The owner was free to restore it and the auction house is properly describing it. The fear is that one day it may end up in the wrong hands and be passed off as high grade. But even that is doubtful. In this case if I were the buyer I would want to see a picture of it before the work was done.
