Default Ways to assemble a nice collection?

Posted By: davidcycleback

If one is collecting in an expensive areas (say, Pre-War baseball cards), I think
it's nice to have a second area of collecting that is relatively inexpensive-- say
Post War baseball wirephotos, 1970s test issues, non-sport items. Items which are
of interest, but not expensive. This way, when things get slow and expensive in one area,
you can still collect without breaking the bank. Old Judges may be too expensive
in May, but you can pick up a Dodgers photo or a boxing card or movie still photo
for $8 and still be productively adding to your collection.
