Just wanted to give one more bump to the best thread on the board. !!!! I thought in case anyone was busy getting ready for Xmas, I'd see if there were anymore posts. I've downloaded many of these images to a new file I'm creating of female players.

JC, do you know an approximate date for your Star Bloomer card? It seems I remember reading that "Star Bloomer Girls" was a generic name for a variety of teams, but earlier than the Western Bloomers. I think that Maud Nelson played for a Star Bloomer team before starting the Western Bloomers League in 1911. Star Bloomer teams were maybe 1890's and into the very early 1900's. Does that sound right for your card?
