Default Best deal you ever passed on

Posted By: daryle

1. T210 Jackson in around GD/GD-VG.....under $10,000

OK.....I'm back from throwing up for not buying that one.....lol

2. 1916 SN Babe Ruth GD/VG.....$2000
3. At '92 National in Atlanta....N172 Harry Wright...$500
4. Not buying all of the E107s that were available (from the dealer I bought mine from) when I bought my only one for a type. Seller had maybe 10-15 or so in the $40-$75 each range in conditions ranging from Poor up to VG or so.
5. And last but not least.....a local friend of nine got into cards for a short time in around 1994-1995. He contacted a few dealers that I led him to. He bought an E107 Cy Young in PSA5 for $2000.........I begged him for it for a long time but he would not come off of it. This was before the prices went through the roof on these. I offered something like $3000 shortly after he bought it but he said NOPE.... (I did get a 1915 Cracker Jack Joe Wood that wound up in a PSA8 holder, 1934 Goudey #61 Gehrig in about EX/EX+ and a 1917 Standard Biscuit Joe Jackson that ended up in an SGC40 holder from him....only have the Gehrig now)....OK, I'm done crying now.................
