If people dont want to donate to a charity where money would be applied overseas (feeding the hungry) that fine. But i think more support could be generated for a charity that potentially saves lives over making retired baseball players lives more comfortable. There are charities that help people receive urgent medical care in our own country. Or one of the many charities that contibutes to disease research . The money stays in America and can have a lot of potential to do good.
