Chris CountsI agree with your selections and I commend you for avoiding hitters who played in 1929 and 1930. I would, however, lobby for Lefty Grove's 1931 season to be included. He went 31-4 with a 2.06 ERA, leading the league in wins, winning percentage, complete games, shutouts and ERA. Given the era he played in, I believe his season was as good as any for a pitcher ...
