Mark MacraeLeon....Hencke was the actual candy maker for the company, joining Collins McCarthy prior to 1910. When McCarthy died, shortly after World War 1 ended, Hencke advanced to general partner. This partnership lasted until 1933. Your tin is from the 1920-1933 era, a true prohibition era survivor. I've found 5 different sizes of that tin (so far) and they all appear to have been used for packaging bulk candy orders, rather than for a specific product. There are also quite a few other Collins Candy packaging containers that have survived. Nice to see more people interested in this type of 'clutter'....
