Andrew S.Joe, never mind. I figured out the answer and then emailed him. It appears that only certain cards have this partial "sporting life" logo imprinted on the shirt near the right bottom against the frame edge. Look very closely at Christy Mathewson's and then you will notice that all Mathewson Sporting Life cards appear to have it, as do a few other players. It looks like very few specific players have the logo on the front image, but I doubt it increases the value at all.
