Donald Miller Last night J.C. Romero and the Phillies lost to Colorado. With this loss came an end to my situation that could have occured. J. C. Romero started the season and played with the Boston Red Sox. He was released by them and picked up by the Phillies. Suppose he had carried the Phillies through the playoffs and the Red Sox had won in the American League and the two had met in the World Series. Obviously one of those teams would win the World Series and the other would lose. J. C would have been with both during the season. Would he have qualified to get two rings from being in the World Series with both teams? I know that both the winners and losers get a ring. Does anyone know of another player who has been on both the winning and losing team in the same year?
