When you buy a house, it very much depends on the contract as to whether you acquire anything other than the house and the fixtures. Personal property such as Honus Wagner cards are not fixtures.
It will depend very much on the facts of each case, including the wording of the contract and the actions of the parties, and whether there is any specific legislation in the particular jurisdiction which would modify the common law treatment.
