The Lombardi comes from the 1938-39 W711-1 set, which I believe was issued by the team. Here's another catcher from the same set, Willard Hershberger. For those who don't know, Hershberger filled in for Lombardi when the big guy got hurt during the Reds' 1940 pennant drive. After making a costly error in a game the Reds lost, he killed himself.
