Hoagy Carmichael was ultra-cool. You can see for yourself in the great The Best Years of Our Lives . I always liked Nat King Cole's Stardust best, that is until I heard Louis Armstrong do it. You can hear it at the Red Hot Jazz Archive (need Real Player, scroll down 'til you hit Stardust http://www.redhotjazz.com/lao . You jazz guys will love this site.
