Addie_JossFor almost every transaction I've ever made on eBay or otherwise as a buyer it was I who asked for insurance or delivery confirmation. I'd be willing to split the loss but I'm not going to refund the whole purchase because then what am I supposed to do? To me, the insurance is a fault we both made and therefore should both shoulder, I don't see any sense in me bearing the full brunt of it when both of us are as guilty as the other.
