and been surprised at how you handled it or what your response was?
Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
A couple months back, a very scarce example of one of my cousin's cards came up for auction on Ebay. I mean, really scarce. This is one of those cards that I thought I would easily pay several hundred dollars for if I had to - just to ensure I won it.
But a funny thing happened on the way to the auction. I couldn't be bothered for more than $260. And I HAPPILY let it go!!! I mean, I was shocked at myself. turns out I guess I didn't want it that badly. I still don't know why.
Anyone else have something similar happen to them? or the opposite? perhaps out of nowhere, you just HAD to have something you hadn't ever been looking for?
