davidcyclebackAll the Peck & Snyders have a photo pasted to cardboard, which was the standard for almost all paper photos back then. In the 1800s the photo paper was so thin a supportive backing was required. Notice that all the 1800s photo cards have cardboard backing-- N172 & N173 Old Judges, Gypsy Queens, Kalamazoo Bats, Joseph Hall Cabinets, Four Base Hits, etc.
