Whew, at least you've given up clowns....
As for me, I've stopped putting together high grade sets as the costs associated with buying the commons was too great relative to my enjoyment of such cards. I now focus almost exclusively on cards/exhibits/PCs of Cobb, Chase, M. Brown, Jennings, Donlin, McGraw, Matty, Greenberg and Koufax.
