Fred YDid anyone notice the bit of gamesmanship J Robinson displayed in the 8th inning trying to break Larsen's rhythm?
After the 1st or 2nd pitch he pretended to have something in his eye, stepped out, went all the way back to the on deck circle & actually took one of Hodges bats & gave it a test shake & grabbed the pine tar rag before finally returning to the batters box---never once rubbing his eye again!
I thought that was pretty cool!
