scottbrockelmanI have a very nice football cabinet for sale featuring 1891 Harvard All-American Everett Lake. I believe this photo was take in 1890 his last year at Worcester Polytech where he and the other person shown, Windsor White excelled at football. Lake went on to play 2 years at Harvard and was an All-American in 1891. Later he became the Governor of Connecticut. White also went to Harvard and is from the famous White Sewing Machine family, he went on to produce steam engine automobiles. He is a member of the Autmobile Hall of Fame, due to his many early automotive inventions.
The cabinet apparently comes from a teenage friend of the duo, with notations on the back.
A very nice cabinet with 2 prominent turn of the century men in America.
