I'm a big fan of catching photos and I also like the '64 set, but I came up with a different answer to the trivia question. When I thought about the best catcher in the set, and how he is holding a bat, I immediately thought of Elston Howard. Although few contemporary fans in baseball realize it, Howard was baseball's best catcher when the '64 set came out. In fact, he was the A.L.'s reigning MVP ...
